Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using RideBond ("App", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and RideBond ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use RideBond
• You must hold a valid motorcycle or vehicle driving licence in India
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is not permitted
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@ridebond.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account
• You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

You agree to use RideBond only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use RideBond while operating a vehicle in a way that compromises road safety
• Send false, misleading, or abusive Quick Alerts or Emergency SOS signals
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through group chat or voice features
• Attempt to access another user's account, location, or data without permission
• Use the app to stalk, track, or monitor any person without their explicit consent
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code through the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation

• Ride Rooms are temporary coordination spaces — do not use them to share sensitive personal information beyond what is needed for the ride
• The room creator (Leader) is responsible for managing the room and its members
• You consent to your real-time location being visible to all riders in a room you join
• You consent to your voice being broadcast to all riders in a room while using Walkie-Talky
• Quick Alerts and SOS are intended for genuine use only — misuse may result in account suspension
• We do not guarantee room availability, connection quality, or uptime during rides

Your safety on the road is your responsibility. RideBond is a coordination tool, not a substitute for safe riding judgement. By using the Service, you acknowledge:

• You will not interact with the app while actively riding — use voice (Walkie-Talky) or have a pillion operate the app
• The Emergency SOS feature is a communication aid only — it does not automatically contact emergency services (112, police, or ambulance)
• RideBond is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring during or after a ride
• Live location and ETA information may be delayed due to connectivity issues — do not rely on it as your sole navigation tool
• Compliance with all Indian traffic laws and regulations is solely your responsibility

You retain ownership of content you create (profile information, messages, photos). By using the Service, you grant RideBond a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use this content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are responsible for the content you share. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

All rights in the RideBond app, website, brand, design, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to RideBond. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, trademarks, or intellectual property without our prior written consent. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without explicit permission.

RideBond is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities
• Location or voice data will be transmitted without delay or loss
• The Emergency SOS feature will successfully notify emergency contacts in all circumstances
• Information provided by other users (location, identity, profile) is accurate

Use of the Service during a motorcycle ride is inherently at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, RideBond and its team members shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Losses arising from road accidents, personal injury, or property damage
• Loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity
• Damages resulting from unauthorised access to your account or data
• Service interruptions during critical moments (e.g. SOS failure due to network outage)

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed ₹5,000 (five thousand rupees).

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to other users or the Service. You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of RideBond shall be resolved by: 1. Good faith negotiation between the parties (30 days) 2. If unresolved, binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement, seated in Bangalore 3. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English You agree not to bring class action proceedings against RideBond.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When changes are material, we will notify you via in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must delete your account before the effective date.
